What are my ingredients? That’s actually a nice thing to think about, sitting here over a cup of tea, people walking along the streets of good old Bockenheim. The air is full of winter and the people wear bonnets and gloves. There were these beautiful sunsets these last days; I think they are very special on winter evenings. There were long cottony clouds and the sky was almost yellow and the woman who stopped next to me told me, she just had an operation for a new hip prosthesis, so we watched the sky together.

As walking was still a bit painful for her, she was happy to halt and explained me, that these beautiful colours in the sky had something to do with cold and warm air and windy streams from different directions, that influence the breaking of the radiated sunlight, so that our eyes can receive those splendid conglomerates of painted spheres.

There are so many things I want to discover. Lately, the cool Sven explained to me the functioning of a waveform generator, which produces sound and also makes it visible in different shapes of curves and lines.

For me, sound and music is always a welcome ingredient for all sorts of situations, as they form and influence them in the same way as light can shape inner and outer atmosphere.

Words are our means for communication, a possibility to share and the “atoms” of our thoughts. They form our way of thinking and therefore have an impact on our mentality and our way of feeling. I like words and writing words. Also, listening to other languages and trying to learn new words, detecting slight differences in meanings and use and comparing the equivalents within the variety of languages that exist on this globe is something I really enjoy.

I was recently thinking a lot about dreams, their function, their power + their potential. It was really interesting to think about. When I feel the longing for someone, who is far away in that moment, I search in the sky for the moon. It makes me feel consoled imagining that the moon will have surrounded the earth when I’ll see it again and the one I miss has certainly seen it in between.

When I draw stuff, I like it simple. I like to combine thoughts and illustration, lines and paper. I like pottery. I like to draw stairs and I just started to make some drawings in aquarelle. As I like lines, I also love analogue photography and the close and intense observing look on a certain frame of a still or moving moment. And i like playing with coincidence by working with double exposure.

My last project was to record a few songs in Sena, a Mozambican language, which I learned from Amado in Maputo. I had the idea to make an electronic version out of it and I just started.

Someone once told me, that everyone’s soul couldn’t travel faster than 15 km/h. I think it is true.
